I once wondered, what if humans were perfect?
What if humans were flawless, what if they make no mistakes?
What would happen to our world, what would happen
to our community?
In my opinion, this world would be too "perfect" then.
Wouldn't every human in this "perfect" world live a life
that is just a big, fat lie?
They would live in a world where everyone lives peacefully,
because without mistakes, we don't argue.
We don't fight.
We don't hate.
Does this sound good?
Never!
Now that they're perfect, they don't need friendship,
happiness,
or love!
The world would be as if human-like robots live on it,
but we aren't!
No human in this world can be perfect,
Nothing can be perfect.
It's just a lie we keep telling ourselves.
Life... can be hard though.
Maybe that's why some people struggle to get a perfect life,
with no mistakes,
no hatred,
no pain;
but their struggles are in vain.
We aren't perfect, no one is and will ever be.
The price of living is maybe that we have to pay for bad decisions,
or for lost relationships,
But we don't have to pay for this price our whole life!
Everyone makes mistakes in life,
but that doesn't mean that we're bad,
no it shows that we're just humans!
Humans who have dreams and wishes to fight for,
Humans who cry and laugh and show emotions,
Humans, who have a colorful life even if they think it's just black and white.
But if you look closer... you will see the colors around you, I'm sure!
Open your eyes... and start being you.

Saying Goodbye to Farewells
The early morning was crisp and solemn.
Sun beams trickled through
the wind blown, naked trees.
White snow fell lightly on the
steaming train.
"I will not say goodbye, I refuse,"
she said through bitter tears.
"I will not beg you to stay,
it's not my way."
He searched for the right words
to ease her anguish.
How could he explain this course
and divorce their bond so clean?
Her breaths were short and fast
as he embraced her tightly.
She did not resist, but held on
as though she would fall from
great heights.
The train billowed its last whistle
and the steam spiraled into
the white sky.

Hopes beat fast as we look
Onward past the hurt and pain
Pieces of this harsh life stay behind
Efforts to make it better are always worth it
Now we are living in the present
Enjoying life when we can
Venturing forward
Entering a new stage in life
Restarting and leaving the past behind
Death we'll never fear
It's just another adventure
Endless days in this life but
Somehow we'll find a way.

I do wish some things were perfect but that seems like it would result in other things becoming worse don't you think?
